Where is a Trucks Towing Capacity Listed
Question:
I have a 2014 Ram 2500 with a factory 2-1/2 in receiver hitch. What are the tongue weight rating and max GTW rating on the hitch? I am looking to pull a travel trailer and want to know how high I can go. I just purchased a 10000 lb adjustable ball hitch from you but stupidly I dont know what the hitch is rated. Thank you,

The easiest way to determine the towing capacity of your truck will be to look on the hitch of your 2014 Ram 2500 for a sticker that has the towing capacities listed. Also, you can check the owners manual.
Since the capacities of trucks varies base on how it is equipped it would be pretty hard for me to determine what your exact capacity would be.
I attached a help article on hitch classifications for you to check out as well.
