What Size Bolts Come with the Curt Hitch 13518
Question:
I need a hitch. What are the torque specs to attach a curt 13518 to a 2008 Suzuki xl7. 12 mm hex bolt using what type threads? Can these be found locally? Do you have the six bolts and washers.? Which trailer wiring would you suggest?

Expert Reply:
The included mounting hardware of the Curt hitch part # 13518 are 12mm-1.75 X 30mm Cl 10.9 Hex head bolts. All of the hardware is included with the hitch.
The torque rating for all of the installation hardware that comes with the # 13518 that you referenced is listed in the install instructions that I attached in a link to the right.
Since we link the instructions directly from the manufacturer and they are subject to change we avoid posting the torque figures for liability purposes.
For trailer wiring you would want the part # C56175.
