Will Hydraulic Brake Hubs Work With Electric Brakes

Question:

Will my old hubs work if I convert from hydraulic to electric brakes? I have 7000 lbs axles. They are dexter brand axles and have oem brakes and hubs.

My contact at Dexter said that the hubs will be the same for hydraulic and electric brakes on their 7,000 pound axle.

For electric brakes for your 7,000 pound axles, I recommend the 12 Inch Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly # 23-465 for the right hand side and # 23-464 for the left hand side. These brake assemblies do not require any manual adjustments to be made, they automatically adjust to deliver optimum performance. I have attached an installation video of these brakes for you.
