Recommended Trailer Hitch for Towing Small Pop-Up Camper With 2012 Mazda 3
Question:
Hello, Im looking at towing a pop up tent with my Mazda 3 2012 sport hatchback. Im not going in hills, only highway to near campground. I was wondering if you have a hitch that you fit my needs. The pop up tent I would buy is about 1000-1200 lbs. Thanks.

I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Hitch Class I Trailer Hitch, part #24843 for your Mazda 3. The hitch includes the hitch pin, but you'll need the ball mount and correctly sized trailer ball. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use part # 19256 or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball.
You'll also need a taillight wiring harness. If your Mazda 3 has the LED taillights, you'd use the # C59496 wiring harness. If you have the incandescent taillights, use the # 118420.
