Multi-Tow Trailer Connector that Keeps Out Moisture the Best

Question:

Can you tell me which of the following has the best sealing against water ingress both on the front side of the connector and the back? Reese 74682, Hopkins HM48470, or Hopkins HM40975? I need to replace a damaged vehicle end connector on a 2001 Ford F350 and Id like to make sure it doesnt corrode in our Canadian winters. Thanks.

Out of the three multi-tow connectors, # HM40975, # 74682, and # HM48470 I give the edge to the Hopkins Endurance # HM48470 since it will seal up better when closes. All three of them have a lip around the actual pins to channel any water away.

What is going to help prevent corrosion is to use some dielectric grease on the pins, # 11755. It works quite well for this application and any electrical connection on a vehicle or trailer.
