2008 Infiniti G35 Sedan Trailer Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation

Question:

hello all I want to do is quickly connect a bike rack to the back of my 2008 Infinity G35 and quickly disconnect, with no scratching car-I will never be towing anything. the gentleman at local bike shop said get a towing hitch put on , he said either of two popular sizes,and he will provid me a rack that attaches and can carry two bicycles. so my understanding is the most hidden one of these that you will not see when not in use is The Curt, part #C11493, Unfortunately, this will require cutting some fascia but when I want to understand is after this is installed use it as simple as the hole is waiting for me to Snap a bicycle rack on or is there something I need to do to the car attachment? Do I need a hitch with a bar, pin, clip as of these 3 hitches some provide more parts than others. Also does your company sell the bike racks as well? And finally can you suggest an easier way to do this ? Thank you

Unfortunately, the only hitch available for a 2008 Infinity G35 as of October 2023 is the Curt C11493, and it only fits the Coupe and not the Sedan.

For your Sedan, you could use the trunk mounted rack like the Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms # Y02634. check out the attached video to see if a trunk mount would be right for you.
