When it comes to a Class III hitch for a 2012 Subaru Forester, we offer Curt # 13147, Eco HItch part # 306-X7216, and Draw-Tite # 75650.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver, # C13144, is designed for the 2014 which is a different generation of the Forester so it will not work for the 2012 model.
