Will the Curt Receiver Hitch # 13354 Fit a 2010 Acura MDX with Factory Spare Tire
Question:
Im looking to install a trailer hitch on new 2010 Acura MDX and I noticed the notes associated with the hitches are that they cant be installed if the car is equipped with a full-sized spare. Mine isnt full size but it is a Goodyear T165/80D17. Will these hitches fit around that tire and everything function correctly?

Expert Reply:
As long as the spare tire under your vehicle is the factory installed spare then the Curt Trailer Hitch, item # 13354, will fit on your vehicle with the spare tire in its original location. The spare will need to be removed to install the hitch but it will be returned to its normal location once the hitch install is complete.
I have listed some items you may need to complete your Class III towing setup.
Drawbar # C45010
Hitch Ball # 19260 or # 19247
Hitch Lock # e98880
Pin and Clip # PC3
Wiring # C56038
I have attached installation videos for the trailer hitch and wiring harness for you to check out.
