Why Wouldnt Curt Hitch C11411 Line Up Properly When Installing on a 2015 Volkswagen Golf
Question:
How do you recommend addressing the problem of the tab dimensions making mounting to the frame extremely difficult

It sounds like you are referring to the review of the Curt Hitch part # C11411 where a customer had difficulty getting the hitch to line up with the mounting location on his vehicle. During shipping hitches can get bent which can make them difficult to install. What the reviewer most likely should have done is bent the hitch back when he found out it didn't want to line up correctly.
As long as there aren't any creases or flaked paint on the hitch you would be just fine.
