Isolator Relay Recommendation for a Allowing Switch Power Cable for Trailer Battery

Question:

Im wanting to power my rollback trailer off of aux battery under hood. I have #1cable ran from where aux battery will be located, to trailer with heavy duty connector. I probably want switched isolator relay for battery output to trailer so cable is dead when not used to power trailer ? In other words switch in truck cab to do this. Thank you, Tim

What you are going to want to install on the power cable that runs from your tow vehicle to the battery is the isolator part # PK5231201. Connect the power cable on either end of the isolator and then run a separate power source to the middle pin of it with a switch installed on it like part # D16740. This will allow you to control the power of the circuit by flipping the switch.
