How can I tell if my Audi is pre wired for a trailer

If there is a round connector at the rear of your vehicle that looks like part # 37185 then you have the factory trailer wiring. Most likely you would know if you had it and the correct trailer wiring you would need would be the part # C59236 that you referenced.
If you wanted to convert the 4-way to a 7-way you would only need the # 37185 that I mentioned earlier.
