What Size Fish Wire Comes with the Curt Hitch C11496
Question:
Looks like the fish wire used to install the carriage bolts has a coil on the end that the carriage bolt screws into. Where do I get the fish wire? Are they sized by bolt diameter? What is the diameter of the carriage bolts on the Curt hitch? This for part number C11496, 2012 Honda Accord. Oh by the way, its a 6 cylinder with a dual exhaust. Will that complicate installation?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Hitch part # C11496 that you referenced comes with a bolt leader/fish wire to use for installing the hardware of the hitch so you would not need to source one separately.
The carriage bolts that come with this hitch are 7/16-14 X 1.50 GR5. If you wanted to order a replacement bolt leader or a spare you would need part # 80103-1.
Your dual exhaust would not be a fit issue at all.
