It sounds like the weight of the bike rack is an important consideration for you. If that's the case, I wouldn't recommend the # TH934XTR Thule Hitching Post Pro. It's a good, quality piece of equipment, but there are bike racks out there that weigh half of what that rack weighs that would be a better choice for you.
I'd recommend the Kuat Beta, which weighs less than 20 lbs, which means it'll be super-easy to install and remove form your Escape. The model you'll need will depend on whether your receiver opening is a 1-1/4 by 1-1/4 inch or a 2 by 2 inch (I'll link you to an FAQ article that shows how to determine which one you have.) For a 1-1/4 inch hitch, use the Kuat Beta # B202-114 or for a 2 inch hitch, use # B202-2.
If you use the rack for the 2 inch hitch, you can use the # e98882 lock. Or, for the 1-1/4 inch hitch rack, use # HL1. These locks will ensure that the rack is secured to the hitch. If you need a cable lock to secure the bikes to the rack, I'd recommend the DeadBolt Cable Lock, part # CAB-10.
