If you are looking for a 4-way trailer wiring harness I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118362. The good news is that you do not have to look for marked wires on the T-One or on the truck. This harness will connect to the truck wiring harness located under the truck bed near the passenger side frame rail. I have attached a photo that shows where this harness is located.
Just connect the # 118362 harness to the vehicle connectors that match. then attach the white ground wire to a clean bare metal surface. To secure the 4-way connector you can use a bracket like part # 18144.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
If you are looking for information about a different harness or wiring let me know and I will be glad to provide any information I can find.
If you are wondering if the wires for the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera, part # HM50002 are marked, you do not need to worry about those wires either. This system simply plugs inline with your 7-way connector and there is no need to splice into the wiring.
