Recommended Class I Trailer Hitch for 2016 Hyundai Elantra
Question:
I may need a trailer hitch for a 2016 Hyundai Elantra. I see this hitch on your website: Curt Trailer Hitch for the 2015 Elantra by Hyundai Curt Trailer Hitch Code: C11303 I do not see any info for a 2016 Elantra. When do you expect youll be getting the data for that car? Thanks for the information. Best Regards.

Both the 2015 and 2016 model years of the Hyundai Elantra are part of the car's 5th generation. This will tend to mean that they will share fits for aftermarket parts like trailer hitches such as the Draw-Tite # 24902. I did check with my technical contact at Draw-Tite and hitch # 24902 is indeed a confirmed carry-over fit for the 2016 Elantra Sedan and Coupe versions. Curt hitch # C11303 has also been confirmed as a carry-over item for the Sedan.
I have linked an installation video, written instructions and helpful articles to simplify your hitch install.
This light duty Class I hitch has a 1-1/4-inch receiver opening and is compatible with Class I hitch-mount accessories like 2-bike racks such as the Swagman XTC # S64670 and cargo carriers like the Curt # C18145. Links to these compatible items are also provided.
