Roof Cargo Basket and Bag for a 2015 Toyota Highlander with Factory Crossbars

How will this rack fit on a 2015 Toyota Highlander cross bars at 28 inches apart? What would be best size waterproof soft carrier bag to use with this rack? Thanks!

The Yakima LoadWarrior cargo basket # Y07070 is a direct fit to the factory crossbars on your 2015 Toyota Highlander.

No cargo bag is waterproof because to be considered waterproof the bag would have to be able to be submerged under water for a certain amount of time and remain dry inside. Bags as well as cargo boxes are weather resistant and would not let rain in. Regardless of the weather resistance we still recommend putting items that cannot get wet in plastic containers just to be safe.

Rightline bag # RL100S20 would fit the basket perfectly. This bag has 15 cubic feet of storage space and is 44 inches long by 36 inches wide.

Be sure to consult the vehicle owners manual and/or Toyota for the roof weight carrying capacity prior to loading. Using a tire step such as # HE4040 makes getting to the roof easier and safer than standing in an open door way.
