Trailer Hitch Recommendation that Will Not Interfere With Spare Tire on a 2005 Dodge Durango
Question:
I need to add a hitch to my 2005 Dodge Durango. Since my spare is under the car, I'd imagine I'd need a hitch that can accommodate that kind of spacing. Can you recommend me a good hitch for a small trailer as well as the wiring package that I'll need? Thanks!

Expert Reply:
I would recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Receiver Hitch, part # 75162 for your vehicle. It has a 2 inch receiver and will not interfere with your spare tire.
To wire your vehicle for towing, you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118390.
