Brake Controller Wiring Adapter to Install Reese Towpower Brakeman Controller on 2015 Ram
Question:
I tried installing a Reese Towpower Brakeman Controller in my 2015 Ram, I connected it using the Tow Ready 20273 harness and it doesnt work. It seems that I loose the brake switch signal when the trailer is connected. After some reading on your site I see that the connector harness 3024-P is needed to work with the Tekonsha controllers. Would my current controller work if it were wired to the 3024-P harness with the included diode? Or do I need a new controller?

The # 20273 brake controller wiring adapter you referenced is compatible with the 2010-2012 Dodge Ram, but because it lacks the diode in the stop lamp switch circuit, it won't work on your truck.
You'll need the # 3024-P wiring adapter which is compatible with your Reese Brakeman brake controller. I've edited a photo for you showing where the connector is located under the dash.
