Hitch and 4 Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Toyota Sienna

Question:

I have a 2015 Toyota Sienna and would like to add a 2inch class III hitch. I see you offer the Curt, Draw-Tite, and Hidden Hitches in those specs. I will be using this primarily to haul our family bikes around on our Yakima hold-up and +2 bike rack. I see the class three receivers are rated for 350 lbs tongue weight, so Im thinking it could handle the 100lb rack as well as 100-125lbs of bikes. I have two questions: 1. Do you see any issues with using the hold-up two on a sienna with a class three hitch receiver? 2. Is there one of the three hitch receiver options I mentioned that are better given what Ill be using the hitch for? Will one provide more ground clearance? Will one provide more room for the hold-up to fold-up when not in use? Thank you so much for your time. Best,

For a hitch for your 2015 Toyota Sienna that would work well with your bike rack and would provide the best possible ground clearance I would recommend the Draw Tite hitch part # 75237. This and the Hidden Hitch will provide 12 inches of ground clearance from the top of the hitch opening to the ground whereas the Curt would provide 10-1/2 inches.

As long as you stay under the weight capacity of the hitch and the tongue weight rating of your vehicle you should be just fine using your # Y02443-2.

Your bike rack will clear the rear bumper easily when folded up as this hitch has a distance of 3 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole and your Holdup has a distance of 7 inches from it's pin hole to the nearest tray when folded.
