Will 205/75R-14 Tires Fit on 4-1/2 inch Rims
Question:
I have a nice set of 20575R-14 radial tires on 6 inch wide Cragar mags. I want to run those tires on the original steel rims with the original dog dish caps. The steel rims are 41/2inch wide. Will that for me?

A 205/75R-14 tire can fit 14-inch rims in several widths, 5, 5-1/2, 6, 6-1/2-inches, but not 4-1/2 inch rims. If the rim is too narrow the tire will pull in and this will cause multiple problems including extra wear on the tire.
