Drivers Side and Passenger Side Mirrors Are Different on CIPA Slip OnCustom Towing Mirrors # CM10200
Question:
The drivers side mirror extends farther out and is easier to see out of than the passenger side is there a reason for that or is it a design or fabrication problem?

I spoke with my contact at CIPA regarding the Custom Towing Mirrors, # CM10200, for your 1994 Chevrolet Suburban. Each of the custom towing mirrors that CIPA offers are designed around the original equipment (OE) for that vehicle.
In this case, during testing they found that the design for the drivers side mirror should be different than that for the passenger side. The size difference between the two mirror housings is not a design problem just a difference.
