A cargo box like the 11-cubic-foot Thule Force Medium Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6356B requires that the vehicle have a roof rack in place. If you do not have a factory roof rack already on the Odyssey we can offer you many options; the linked page will let you see all available roof rack fits that will depend on the nature of the roof. Simply select your roof style by clicking on the appropriate picture at the top of the page to see suitable racks.

For example, if you have roof side rails that run front-to-back you can use the Malone system, part # MPG201. This rack will work great with the Force XL.

An alternative cargo solution that does not require a roof rack is a cargo bag like the Rightline # RL100S30. This waterproof bag offers even more cargo capacity than the Force (18-cubic feet vs. 13) and will work on virtually any vehicle roof without need for a roof rack. It even works on bare roofs that have no hardware at all. Please refer to the linked video for more on this product. With this you'll want to use a non-skid pad # RL100650 to hold the bag in place while you're driving.

No matter which roof cargo carrier you end up choosing, a great accessory item that makes using the carrier much easier is a tire step, part # HE4040. This comes fully-assembled and simply slips over a rear tire when you need to load or unload your cargo and it folds up for easy storage in the Odyssey.
