Stable Roof Rack and Paddleboard Carrier for a 2005 Honda Accord Sedan  

Question:

Using it to transport a 10.5 ft Paddleboard. Will it be stable enough on long road trips in access of 55 mph? Naked roof no rails or crossbars

SportRack roof rack # SR1002 is a semi-custom fit rack that will not fit as well as a custom fit rack for your 2005 Honda Accord sedan. However, it will still get the job done despite not being a true custom fit rack.

I would urge you to consider a custom fit rack though because of the better fit. Better fit means more stability. The most cost effective custom fit rack we have is an Inno square bar with square bars using the following parts: crossbars # INB127, feet # INSUT, and custom fit kit # INK294.

For either roof rack the bar spread will be approximately 28 inches which is more than enough width for a paddleboard. For a paddleboard carrier you can use the Lockrack Adjustable XL Watersport Carrier, # LR54FR, or SUP Shuttle XT, # TH811XT as well as any of the others I have linked.
