Load Range D ST205/75R15 Trailer Tire Size Recommendationf or a 25 ft Cougar Trailer
Question:
I have this tire 4 on my 5th wheel 25ft Cougar and the tire has a load range C . The trailer is 6800 lbs when loaded and these tires seem to bulge and are flatter then I think they should be. The tire brand name is Commodore.These tires came with the trailer. What tire do recommend that I should replace them with.

First thing you want to do is verify that your current tires are inflated to their maximum PSI. Trailer tires should always be inflated to their max PSI to ensure that you get all of their capacity and to prevent heat build up.
Otherwise I would recommend you go with a higher Load Range in your tire size. For that you would want the part # AM10245 as this is a ST205/75R15 in a Load Range D that has a capacity of 2,150 lbs at 65 psi.
