Installing Hopins Brake Force Brake Controller on 2010 Toyota Tundra

Question:

2010 Toyota Tundra Crewmax Limited. I bought a Hopkins brake controller 47225 and I was wondering if the wiring harness HM47815 would be an exact plugin and work properly in my truck?

The wiring harness remains the same for the 2010 model as the 2009. The HM47815 will be an exact plug in for you, assuming that your Tundra was equipped with the factory tow package with the 7-way trailer connector on the rear bumper.

If you do not have the tow package, and have the 4-way connector only, you will have to hardwire the controller into the existing vehicle wiring.

We offer a Brake Controller Installation Kit, part # ETBC7 for a 7-way connector or part # ETBC6. We have a brake controller install guide that you might find helpful, I will include a link to it below.
