Trailer Hitch and Wiring for 2016 Subaru Outback to Tow Small 1,000 Pound Trailer

Towing a small trailer, 5x8, total weight about 1,000 pounds or so loaded. Need hitch plug and accessories

I will be happy to help. For your 2016 Subaru Outback you can use Curt trailer hitch # C13206. This hitch has a 4,000 pound capacity but check your owners manual to determine the vehicle capacity.
The recommended ball mount is # C45030. It has a 1 inch rise and 1 inch diameter ball hole. For a ball you can use # 63845 for a 2 inch or # 63847 for a 2-5/16 inch. For a hitch pin use # PC3 or a lock, # e98880.
And to add a 4-Way trailer wiring harness you can use # C59496.
