To complete the installation of the Tekonsha Prodigy P2, part # 90885 on your 2006 Nissan Pathfinder you will need the Universal Installation Kit, part # ETBC7. This will attach to your 4-way connector and with additional wiring give you the 7-way connector at the rear of your Pathfinder for your trailer.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
I have attached links to a couple helpful articles that explain installation of the # ETBC7, and installation of a brake controller you can check out.
