Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for a Ram OEM Hitch Prep Package
Question:
I currently have a Reese 18K signature series hitch part #30847. I just acquired a Ram 3500 with the factory installed under bed rails and was wanting to know if the Reese 5th wheel rail adapter will work, or am I now in search for a new hitch. Thanks Chris

The OEM Ram adapter part # RP30154 that you referenced would only work on hitches that are designed to fit industry standard fifth wheel rails.
The Reese hitch we offer that will fit your rails as-is without the use of an adapter is the Reese OEM 5th Wheel Hitch part # RP30918. I attached a review video as well.
