The Curt # C11412 Class I trailer hitch is indeed a confirmed fit for your 2015 VW Golf TDI.2015 VW Golf TDI. This hitch installs without drilling and include all required hardware. Some trimming of underbody panels and the rear fascia are required. The instructions are linked for reference along with two helpful articles on hitch installation.
Class I hitches are light-duty types that need to be used only with compatible Class I accessories, such as bike or cargo carriers. If this is your application, I have included links to both bike and cargo items that will fit the hitch.
If your car is rated to tow (check your manual) and this is your intended use, then you'll need a few additional items, a hitch ball and a wiring harness. For a 1-7/8-inch ball use # 19256; for a 2-inch ball use # 19258. For a wiring harness use # 119250KIT.
