Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Acura MDX with Full Sized Spare
Question:
Hi Etrailer Expert, I have Acura MDX 2014 model and I wonder if this hitch leave enough room for full size spare tire? If it is not, do you know which hitch provide enough room for full size spare tire? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
The etrailer hitch part # e98840 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2014 Acura MDX and would allow you to keep your full sized spare as long as it's an 18 inch wheel and not 19-20 inch.
When you install this hitch, you will need to temporarily remove the spare, but you will be able to reinstall it afterwards.
I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
