Troubleshooting Hitch Hardware That Doesn't Want to Thread Past a Few Turns
Question:
We had your hitch on a 2010 jeep liberty and now have a 2012. we removed the hitch and tried bolting on the 2012. The bolts start then bind. Did they change the bolt size ? What do you reccommed. thanks

Most likely the weldnuts of your 2012 Jeep Liberty are in need of cleaning since the vehicle is a few years old. This is a fairly common problem with hitches that bolt to factory weldnuts in the trailer frame.
What you will want to do is check out the help article and video I attached that covers cleaning weldnuts.
Also, hitch hardware is considered one time use so you will need to order part # RHK. On the product page you will need to enter the part number and manufacturer of the hitch you have.
