Hitch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible
Question:
Looking to add a tow package and wiring harness to my 2011 camaro LT convertible. Not sure what products you recommend. I want to be able to put a bike rack on the back and tow light trailers from time to time. Thanks.

First let's start with a hitch for your 2011 Chevy Camaro. For that you would want the Curt Hitch part # C11222 as long as you don't have ground effects. Otherwise there is no hitch solution available. For a ball mount part # C45520. For a 2 inch ball you would want part # 19258 or for a 1-7/8 inch ball part # 19256. The hitch comes with a pin and clip.
For trailer wiring you would want the part # HM11141285.
Now when you are carrying a bike rack you will need to use a stabilizer strap like the part # 18050. All non-trailer loads - bike racks, cargo carriers and so forth - should be supported with stabilizing straps. Failure to properly support these loads will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
The most popular bike rack we carry that has been confirmed to fit this vehicle is the Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack part # S64670. This rack has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it. Check out the review video I attached for more info.
