How to Activate Trailer Brake Output and Trailer 12 Volt Circuit on a 2013 GMC Yukon

sir 2years ago we bought a 2013 Yukon denali we just bought a travel trailer and the owners manual states that we would have to have the trailer brakes wire and the battery charging wire hooked up.would these wires be hooked up to the fuse box and where?Thank you so much for your help.

The two circuits you referenced will need to be connected under the hood of your 2013 GMC Yukon. If you check out the help article I attached you will see exactly how to do this. This article also covers how to install a brake controller which it sounds like you are looking to do.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
