Recommended Trunk-Mount Bike Carriers For 2014 Kia Soul With Spoiler

Question:

I have a 2014 Kia Soul with a spoiler and need a bike rack for it. I dont want to put on a hitch and I have a sunroof on it too, and dont think anyone makes a roof rack that will work with the sunroof, so am having trouble finding a trunk rack that will work. I dont think a Yakima will work because the straps would have to rest on the rear of the spoiler and might damage it or ruin the paint. Been looking at a Thule but not sure that will work either. Any suggestions?

We have a few bike carriers that will work with the spoiler on the rear of your 2014 Kia Soul.

Another nice bike rack I recommend is the Hollywood Racks Over-the-Top 2 Bike Carrier, part # HRF2. This rack is designed for vehicles with spoilers, SUVs, and minivans. This rack uses 6 straps to secure the carrier to your vehicle.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
