The Curt Trailer Connector with Backup Alarm # C57100 that you referenced fits Dodge Ram and Dakota trucks but not your Durango. However, we do offer a universal-fit stand-alone backup alarm from Custer, their part # BK97DB, which mounts under the passenger side taillight as shown in the linked video. You'll need a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to find the reverse light wire that will activate the alarm when you put the Durango into reverse. You'll also need 2-conductor wire like jacketed # 10-2-1 (sold by the foot) and crimp-on ring terminals like # DW05705-1.
