What Does it Mean If You Need More Weight Distribution Chain Length
Question:
Hello. While installing this hitch to our new camper I found u can not get the angle I would like. The chains are too short to angle the head back as much as I would like. Do you sell longer chains for this model Wdh?

It sounds like the issue you have is that you need higher rated spring bars, not longer chains. The fact that you want to angle the head back even further would indicate that you aren't getting the amount of spring tension you need to properly distribute the tongue weight of your trailer.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.
If you have the # 49570 then your spring bars are rated for 700-1,200 lbs of tongue weight. To upgrade to a higher tongue weight rated system you will need to upgrade to a new head like part # RP58167 and then go with higher rated spring bars like # RP66009 for if you have a tongue weight range between 600 lbs - 1,200 lbs.
