Wiring Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, on 2009 Toyota Highlander Limited
Question:
I purchased a Tekonsha controller and generic wiring harness from you 7-pin RV style. I have the rear plug mounted, I have the Controller mounted, but not wire yet. I have the wire from the rear of vehicle to the battery installed. However, I can not figure out how to get the power supply wire through the firewall to the controller. How do you get the wire from the battery into the contrller? Do you have an installation video? Thanks.

On the Tekonsha PRODIGY Brake Controller - Proportional, # 90885, with the Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7, I recommend that you run the power wire, the ground wire, and we also run the blue brake feed thru the firewall by finding a rubber grommet and pushing it thru the grommet. If needed a small slice in the grommet might help, but anytime you are cutting by wires you need to be extra careful so as not to damage any wires.
I also am sending 2 links that show the Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit, # ETBC7 being installed on a 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser, it has a part one video and a part two video. These links should help you with any questions.
