5th Wheel Installation Kit for an RBW Lil Rocker and 2004 Ford F-250 Long Bed
Question:
I have recently purchased a Ford F250 Super Duty XLT, 4 door, long box. It came with a 15K Lil Rocker and rails, but no mounting hardware. I will be towing a 8500 GTW Alpinlite Fifth Wheel. I am new to fifth wheel towing so can you advise me on what the best mounting options would be? From what I am reading the custom mount is a better option for ease of installation and have seen the RP50082-58 referenced on questions for other F-Series Trucks from different years, using the RBW.

Custom fit 5th wheel trailer hitch installation kits are much easier to install and require much less drilling compared to universal or semi-custom kits. I do recommend going with Reese kit # RP50082-58 for your 2004 Ford F-250 long bed. I have linked a video showing how this kit installs.
The RBW Lil Rocker should fit the industry standard above the bed rails. But we always like to make sure. I have included a picture showing the relevant rail measurements. Just make sure that the feet on the hitch match up.
