Recommended Trailer Hitch and Hitch Mounted Bike Rack for a 2013 Ford Fusion SEL Hybrid

I need a hitch and bike rack for our 13 Ford Fusion. Any recommendations? We live in Wentzville, MO too.

Hi Neighbor!
I'd recommend the Curt trailer hitch # C12091 for your 2013 Ford Fusion SEL because it's a Class-II rated hitch. It will have a 350 pound tongue weight maximum. Note that Curt requires a stabilization strap like # 18050 when adding any non-trailer loads such as a bike rack. If you don't secure the bikes it will void your hitch warranty from Curt.
Secondly, the hitch bike rack I would go with is the Kuat Beta # B202-114 because it's aluminum and only weighs 12.5 pounds. It will carry up to 2 bikes weighing a total of 80 pounds.
