Can you identify those Roof Racks that can safely and securely mount a spare tire? 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee with factory rack. Thanks!

Any cargo basket that is large enough for the diameter of the spare tire can hold it provided the proper straps are used to hold it down. But there are a few baskets that have an actual mount to hold a spare tire in the basket.
You could use the Yakima LoadWarrior, # Y07070, MegaWarrior, # Y07080, as well as the models that include an extension, # Y07070-74 and # Y07080-82, can use spare tire carrier bracket # Y07076. All of these baskets are also confirmed to fit the factory roof rack crossbars on your 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
