Trailer Hitch Options for 2015 Nissan Rogue for Use with Bike Rack & Cargo Carrier
Question:
What hitch would you recomend for a 2015 Nissan Rogue? I noticed that the drawtite and hidden hitch stick out much further than the Curt. How much is needed for bumper clearance. My plan is to haul bikes or a cargo carrier.

We offer both 1-1/4-inch Class II and higher capacity 2-inch Class III type hitches for your 2015 Nissan Rogue, but for your application with bike and cargo carriers I recommend a Class III hitch such as the Curt # C13204. Bike and cargo carriers place a substantial tongue weight (TW) load on a hitch and the Curt # C13204 offers the highest of all available options - 525-lbs. Class III hitches also offer better compatibility with accessory items like bike and cargo carriers.
All Class III hitches for your car can be seen on the link provided.
Please keep in mind that the capacity of your vehicle may be less than that of the hitches offered for it so you will want to review your owner's manual to confirm the Rogue's TW rating. Always go by the lower rated item when capacities differ.
With a Class III hitch on your Rogue you can use compatible 2-inch Class III cargo and bike carriers. Links to both are provided for your review along with helpful articles to help you choose the best fit for your particular bikes and cargo. Please feel free to tell me about your bikes and cargo and I'll be glad to offer recommendations.
