Hitch Recommendation for a RV Trailer for Carrying a Bike Rack

Question:

My RV trailer has a bumper that is Cfoot shaped and is 4 13/16inch tall and 1 9/16inch deep. I am looking for a bolt on receiver to mount a bike rack. I plan on adding wood to the inside of the Cfoot channel to beef the twisting. Do you have a hitch that will work?

I believe we have a solution for you, but we don't have anything designed to fit your c-channel type bumper. You would want to go with a multi-fit hitch that will attach to your trailer's frame like the part # 13703 as long as your trailer frame is between 22 and 72 inches in width. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.

Now when it comes time to install a bike rack into this hitch you will need to go with one rated for use at the rear of a motorhome or RV. Most bike racks can't handle the rougher ride that is associated with the rear of a trailer you will need one designed specifically for that.

I attached a link to a page that has all of the bike racks we offer confirmed to work at the rear of an RV.
