Hitch Recommendation for a 2000 Ford F-150 4x4 for Towing a Boat
Question:
Need a receiver hitch for my 2000 f-150 4x4 so I can pull a boat. Nobody seems to stock it. Please help. Going Friday to test drive boat but cannot bring home without this hitch. Thanks,

We have hitches available that will fit your 2000 Ford F-150 with a standard bed. The most popular option we have is the Curt Hitch part # C14355. This hitch has plenty of capacity and has a ton of positive reviews from our customers who have tried it so I would recommend it for you. Check out the install video I attached as well.
If you wanted to do some towing you might be interested in etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It comes with a ball mount with a 3" rise or 4" drop . It also includes a 2-5/16 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not include a ball mount with the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, check out the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
