Can Synthetic Brake Fluid be Used in a Titan BrakeRite II Severe-Duty Electric-Hydraulic Actuator

I installed the titan 2 brake rite electric over hydraulic pump. The manual says fill with dot 3 brake fluid ,would dot 3 synthetic work or cause issues?
