Does Rear Fascia Need to be Bent to Install Draw-Tite Class III 75784 Hitch on 2010 Acura RDX
Question:
im interested in the Hidden Hitch class 3 for a 2010 Acura RDX, but wanted to checkif this does fit the vehicle without bending or bowing of the fascia and whether the fascia needs to be moved for this hitch on a 2010 rdx? I did watch the video on the 2014 rdx model, but know theres definitely differences between the two.

I spoke with my contact at Draw-Tite regarding the install of the # 75784 Class III receiver on your 2010 Acura RDX. Unfortunately, they doesn't have any specific information about which particular model years the fascia would need to be temporarily moved.
If you look at the installation instructions, you'll see that it's a pretty simple and straight forward installation. On some vehicles, there's not enough room to swing the hitch up into place, so the brackets holding the fascia need to be gently bent rearward and downward long enough to get the hitch into place. Once the hitch is installed, the brackets are pushed back into their original position.
If your future plans might include using the hitch for towing purposes, you'd need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness with 4-pole trailer connector, part # 118500
Ball mount, part # 2753
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
(the necessary ball size will be stamped into the coupler of your trailer)
