I did not find any purchase history for you but the electric drum brake that you referenced, Dexter # 23-446, is a left-hand 12-1/4 x 5-inch-wide brake. Its matching right-hand part is # 23-447. The hub/drum you referenced, Dexter part # 8-285-11UC3, is a 12-1/4 diameter x 3-3/8-inch-wide hub. These parts do not work together. The brake is rated for 15,000-lb axles while the hub/drum is rated for 8000-lb axles. Both their sizes and weight ratings are incompatible with each other.

You will want to confirm the weight rating of the axle you have and verify the bearings required for its spindle. Replacement hubs must have the correct weight rating and use the same bearings as your originals in order for them to fit your spindles. The Dexter hub you referenced uses inner bearing # 25580 and outer bearing # 02475.

The linked photo will show you the typical location and appearance of bearing part numbers; this will help you find suitable hubs that use the same bearings. A link is provided to let you search our hub assemblies by selecting your axle capacity and bearings.
