Swagman XP vs. Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack Comparison
Question:
Im looking at the Swagman Trailhead 2inch 4 bike versus the Swagman XP. Im putting it on the back of my RV. I have a very strong bumper that was welded on, so weight shouldnt be an issue. 1 mens bike, 1 womens bike, one BMX style bike and one 24inch tire mountain bike.. Any opinion between the two? Thanks

I would recommend the Swagman Trailhead part # S63380 for you because this rack has two arms instead of one like the Swagman XP # S64940 which will make carrying bikes easier and more stable.
The Trailhead also has anti-sway cradles designed to prevent the bikes from moving around in the rack which will help prevent them from contacting each other. I attached a review video for both racks for you to check out as well. Both racks are confirmed to work at the back of an RV.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Swagman Easy-Out Women's and Alternative Frame Bike Adapter # 64005 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
