You should have no problem using the Diversi-Tech Locking Hitch Pin, # e98881. Unfortunately, we have not had the chance to test this lock with a 2-1/2 inch hitch on a 2014 Ram 3500, but I can tell you that we have not had any reported issues with this lock and Dodge vehicles.

If you would like to verify that this lock will fit, you can simply measure the outer width of your trailer hitch receiver at the hitch pin hole. As long as the width at the hitch pin hole is less than 3-1/4 inches, this lock will fit.
