What is the Best and Easiest Trunk Bike Rack for a 2014 Ford Edge
Question:
Hi John That really is a great reply. And a super way of using it. Thanks. I am very tempted by the rack and may well end up getting it. The only problem is the price. Though I'm sure it's worth it. Eeeek my bike wasn't much more than that. Is there any thing a little less expensive? My best

The fastest and easiest bike rack to install and remove from your 2014 Ford Edge is the Thule OutWay 2 Bike Rack, # TH45JV. This bike rack uses only 2 coated steel cables that hook to the edge of the rear hatch and the ratcheting hubs make it easy to tighten and release the cables. The cables are much easier to use over the traditional nylon straps that fly around in the wind. I have attached a demonstration video for you to check out.
If you will be carrying any women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, then I also recommend looking into a bike adapter bar like part # UB01. Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on bike rack arms and this adapter allows you to load the bikes quickly, easily and safely. I have attached a demonstration video of this adapter bar for you as well.
