Is there a Hitch for a 2010 Infiniti FX35 That Mounts Above the Exhaust
Question:
I curious if etrailers makes a tow hitch for a 2010 FX 35 that is similar to item code 90074. Im looking for a hitch whos crossbaw mounts *above* the exhaust pipes so as to be more pleasing to the eye compared to one whos crossbar goes beneath the exhaust pipes.

All of the trailer hitches offered for your 2010 Infiniti FX35 will install below the exhaust and in pretty much the same way since all will use the same attachment points on the vehicle's frame. There is no hitch available for your car that has a cross tube that sits above the exhaust.
The linked page will show you all hitches offered for your FX35 and the linked photo shows you the rear of a 2010 FX35 with Curt hitch # 13554 installed. Each hitch fits both all-wheel-drive and rear-wheel-drive versions of the FX35. I also included an installation video for the Curt hitch showing the entire installation process. Written instructions are included too, along with two helpful articles on hitch installation. The only special tool needed is a torque wrench, which is essential to know you have tightened all fasteners to the correct values as specified in the instructions.
With any of these Class III hitches installed you can use a compatible 2-inch cargo carrier or bike rack, up to the weight limits of the hitch (400-lbs) or of the FX35, whichever is lower. Your manual will tell you the vehicle's tongue weight limit.
I have also included links to compatible cargo carriers, such as the Curt # C18110. If this type of item is in your plans please let me know and I will be glad to offer recommendations to suit your particular requirements. If you plan to tow, please advise and I will be happy to recommend a wiring harness and related towing components.
